South Carolina Resident Files Elmiron Lawsuit in New Jersey After Allegedly Suffering From Pigmentary Maculopathy, Vision Degradation, Loss of Night Vision, and Changes in Eye Color Pigment.
On June 9, 2020 an Elmiron lawsuit was filed in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex County, against Janssen Pharmaceuticals, certain other Johnson & Johnson entities, Teva Branded Pharmaceutical Products R&D, Teva Pharmaceuticals, and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd., styled Hull vs. Janssen Pharmaceuticals Inc., et al., Case No. MIDL003646-20.
The Elmiron lawsuit reportedly alleges that the Plaintiff Valerie Hull took the prescription drug Elmiron (which is also known as pentosan polysulfate sodium and that is prescribed for the treatment of interstitial cystitis and bladder pain) from approximately 2001 until 2018.
The Elmiron suit reportedly asserts that the Plaintiff now suffers from serious visual injuries, including, pigmentary maculopathy, vision degradation, loss of her night vision, and changes in her eye color pigment.
