f/k/a Johnson and Johnson Pharmaceutical Research and Development, LLC; Janssen Ortho, LLC; Johnson & Johnson, Inc; Teva Branded Pharmaceutical Products R&D, Inc.; Teva Pharmaceuticals USA, Inc.; and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries LTD., styled Audrey L. Howell vs. Janssen Pharmaceuticals Inc., et al., Case No. 2:20-cv-00993-SGC.
The Elmiron macular degeneration lawsuit reportedly alleges that the Plaintiff, a resident of Jefferson County Alabama, began taking Elmiron continuously and daily from approximately 1997 to 2004 and 2016 to 2018 for the treatment of her interstitial cystitis (IC)-related pain.
The Elmiron lawsuit further alleges that in approximately April 2020, Plaintiff was diagnosed with vision-related injuries, including, but not limited to, macular degeneration.
The Elmiron case requests compensation for medical expenses, pain and suffering, mental anguish, anxiety, and discomfort, physical impairment, loss of enjoyment of life, pre and post judgment interest, and exemplary and punitive damages.
