Onewheel XR Electric Skateboard User Files Personal Injury Lawsuit Against Future Motion, Inc. After Allegedly Suffering Injuries While Riding a Onewheel Device.

A Texas man has reportedly filed a personal injury lawsuit against Future Motion, Inc. in Santa Cruz County Superior Court, California, alleging, among other things, that the Onewheel XR skateboard he was riding had suddenly turned off causing him to nosedive while riding downhill on a paved road.

The man reportedly suffered severe injuries after being thrown off the Onewheel device, including a dislocation in his right shoulder, lacerations on the right side of his body and a broken right femur (thigh bone).

California Products Liability Personal Injury Lawsuit Filed Over Alleged Onewheel Accident.

According to reports, the Onewheel lawsuit alleges that Future Motion failed to properly design, manufacture, and market a safe device and asserts claims for failure to warn, negligent design, strict liability, and violations of the California Business and Professions Code.
