Jury Reaches $14.9 Million Verdict in Personal Injury Lawsuit Against Chart Industries, Inc. Over Claimed Destruction Of Human Eggs and Embryos.

A federal jury in San Francisco California has awarded five plaintiffs a total of $14,900,000 in a personal injury lawsuit that was filed against Chart Industries Inc. in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, styled In re Pac. Fertility Ctr. Litig., N.D. Cal., No. 3:18-cv-01586, alleging, among other things, that Chart was responsible for defects in a cryopreservation tank at Pacific Fertility Center that led to the destruction of human eggs and embryos.
