Zantac Uterine Cancer Lawsuit Filed By Indiana Resident

Vermillion County, Indiana Woman Files Zantac Uterine Cancer Personal Injury Lawsuit In Florida Federal Court.

On July 14, 2020 a woman residing in Vermillion County, Indiana who claims to have regularly ingested Zantac from the 1980’s to early 2020 filed a personal injury lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, styled Pamila Wilbanks v. Pfizer, Inc., Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Sanofi Chattem, Inc., Sanofi US Services Inc., Sanofi-Aventis U.S. LLC, Glaxosmithkline, PLC and Glaxosmithkline, LLC, Case No. 9:20-cv-81135 alleging, among other things, that as a result of ingesting Zantac, she developed uterine cancer and underwent complete hysterectomy surgery in 2018.

The Zantac uterine cancer lawsuit reportedly brings the following claims: Count I for “Strict liability – Design Defect; Count II for “Strict Liability – Failure to Warn”; Count III for “Negligence”; Count IV for “Breach of Express Warranty”; Count V for “Breach of Implied Warranty”; and Count VI for “Negligent Misrepresentation.”

The Zantac uterine cancer lawsuit complaint reportedly requests the following relief: non-economic and special economic damages, medical, incidental, and hospital expenses, pre-judgment and post-judgment interest, full refund of all purchase costs Plaintiff paid for Zantac, compensatory damages, consequential damages and expenses and costs of litigation.
