Zantac Lawsuit Filed In Missouri After Plaintiff Was Diagnosed With Stomach Cancer and Esophageal Cancer.

Perry County, Missouri Couple File Zantac Injury Lawsuit Case In Missouri Federal Court Over Stomach and Esophageal Cancer.

On August 26, 2020 a couple residing in Perry County, Missouri filed a Zantac lawsuit case in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, styled George White and Carol White v. Pfizer, Inc., Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Sanofi US Services Inc., Sanofi Aventis U.S. LLC, Sanofi S.A., Chattem, Inc., and Glaxosmithkline, LLC, Case No. 1:20-cv-00185, alleging, among other things, that Plaintiff George White took Zantac on a regular basis for about 20 years and was diagnosed with stomach and esophageal cancer in October of 2019, resulting in the complete removal of his stomach.

The Zantac lawsuit asserts that N-Nitrosodimethylamine (“NDMA”) is a potent carcinogen, that Zantac (chemically known as ranitidine) can lead to the production of NDMA when digested by the human body and that Plaintiff’s stomach and esophageal cancer was caused by NDMA exposure related to ingestion of Zantac.

The Zantac cancer lawsuit reportedly brings claims for: Count I “Strict liability – Design Defect; Count II “Strict Liability – Failure to Warn”; Count III “Negligence”; Count IV “Breach of Express Warranty”; Count V “Breach of Implied Warranty”; Count VI “Negligent Misrepresentation,”; and Count VII “Loss of Consortium.”

The Plaintiffs in the Zantac cancer lawsuit reportedly seek general (non-economic) and special (economic) damages, medical, incidental, and hospital expenses, interest, full refund of all purchase costs Plaintiff paid for Zantac, compensatory damages, consequential damages and expenses and costs of bringing their lawsuit.

If you used Zantac or Ranitidine and were diagnosed with stomach cancer or esophageal cancer, you may be able to seek compensation from a Zantac stomach cancer lawsuit or esophageal cancer lawsuit.
